About Me – Azadî Jihan
My name is Azadî Jihan – which means Freedom of the World. I’m an artist with roots deep in the soil of Kurdistan, shaped by a life lived across the UK, Turkey, and Germany. My music is more than rhythm and lyrics – it’s a journey through identities, struggles, and dreams that cross borders.
Raised between cultures, I carry the voice of a people who fight for dignity, unity, and freedom. From the streets of Istanbul to the clubs of Berlin, from Kurdish mountain melodies to urban beats, I blend tradition with rebellion, language with rhythm, and pain with pride. I sing in German, Kurdish, and sometimes English, fusing trap, hip-hop, and folklore instruments into something raw, honest, and revolutionary.
I’m not just making music – I’m telling the story of a generation torn between exile and homeland. . A heartbeat for those who never stop dreaming.
